Excitement Runs High at Palladium

There is raw excitement at Palladium Books as we begin to get one new product to the printer after another.

The Rifter® #43 shipped last week and is a wonderful sourcebook for villains and mutants. Rifts® Anthology: Tales of the Chi-Town ‘Burbs™ is at the printer (ships August 6) and is a tour de force of Rifts® stories set in the Chi-Town ‘Burbs. Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® RPG “Deluxe Edition” and Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® RPG “Gold Edition” are at the bindery getting bound and boxed even as you read this (both will ship August 6). The full color signature card for the Gold Edition has been signed and is ready to be added to the book.

Meanwhile, production of Robotech® The Macross Saga™ sourcebook (ships end of August) is winding near completion; 70% of the writing is done, 75% of the artwork is done and this sourcebook is looking wonderful. Robotech® The Masters Saga™ sourcebook is already researched and half written. Artwork will be assigned to our four main artists as soon as Macross is finished.

Preliminary work has also begun on Dead Reign™ (Zombie) RPG (October), Rifts® Dimension Book™ 11: Dyval™ (Sept./Oct.), Rifts® Dimension Book™ 12: Dimensional Outbreak™ (Nov.), Rifts® Heroes of the Megaverse® (Fall), and Heroes Unlimited™/Rifts®: Armageddon Unlimited™ (January). And that’s not even everything we hope to release by Christmas.

We’re also excited because Gen Con® Indy is just around the corner. Not only do we get to wheel and deal, see old friends, make new friends, chat with fans, sell and sign books, but we get direct input from fans on books like the Rifts® Anthology book and the two Robotech® RPG hardcover editions. It’s always fun seeing people’s reaction to a new book and we think the Robotech® titles, the Rifts® Anthology, and The Rifter® #43 will be jumping off the shelves.

This year at Gen Con we’ll also be running Palladium RPG games and demos at the booth, we’ll have a special promotional item available only at Gen Con while supplies last (only 230 of ‘em), and we’ll be giving away issues of The Rifter®, while supplies last.
